The warm hospitality and homey feel made our stay enjoyable, especially being just a short walk from captivating sights like the nearby park and cultural landmarks, made our city strolls good.

Everything was really good, flexible staff, magnificent views of the lake. The breakfast was delicious and enjoyable, it had fresh bread, cereals, and boiled eggs. The location was fantastic on the ring road. Plus, it was not far from southeast Iceland, nature and the waterfalls & glaciers.

Well-appointed and brand-new units with a king size bed and great views plus a very nice view, and the staff were very friendly.

The room had a dismal view, totally mismatched with the hyped 'dramatic views', how was i supposed to enjoy my stay? The breakfast was awkward, and everyone seemed to gossip about us, i mean, really? A complimentary gesture would've been nice since i was clearly a superior guest! I almost gave a good review, but just couldn't.

The communal dinner was a highlight, where we enjoyed delicious homemade food and made new friends from around the world. The warm atmosphere and beautiful views exceeded my expectations during this staycation.

better soundproofing could improve comfort.

The room was comfortable modern, with central heating, tea/coffee making equipment and a seating area. Location: the hotel was close to Iceland outragese standard and Hrifunes Guesthouse. It also was near a beautiful lake.

It was stylish, spotless and with bathroom.

We loved the homemade breakfast and dinner! The communal dining experience was wonderful, and the food reminded me of a cozy family gathering. The cozy and clean room had a bright interior. The beautiful area offered a lovely view of the glacier on a clear day.

Dining was really good with an eclectic menu and homemade dips. The lamb Shepherd's pie and bread were highlights!

The location was fine, and we enjoyed the warm hospitality of Hadda and Haukur. Our kids especially loved the common area, filled with fascinating old cameras and artwork. It felt cozy, like staying at a friend's house. Their cooking at dinner was a highlight!

In my wife's opinion, the rooms could be slightly larger for a family.

The atmosphere was unlike anything, we arrived to a warm welcome with the delicious smell of home-cooked food wafting through the air, it felt cozy like family. The communal dinner experience was really good with everyone sharing stories, it reminded me that in this life, connections matter.

It wasn't inexpensive, but considering the experience, it was reasonable.

Loved the cozy vibe and the homemade breakfast! The fine glacier views and the chance to meet other travelers made it lovely. Just wished for better signage around the hotel. Can't wait to return!
